Some of you know that Steve and I went home to New Zealand earlier this year for my brother's wedding (yay!). While we were there we toured around the country a little, taking photos on the way. The result is this calendar with a selection of photos from our trip.

I can't believe it's been a year since I last photographed this little guy's birthday!  He's back again, enjoying cake with a new-found passion, having some serious fun at the playground and flashing his infectious smile at everyone around him.

Here's a little guy with a story.  These photos were taken back in February this year, not long after his first birthday.  His parents have been waiting for over a year to adopt him and they received the wonderful news earlier this month that it's been finalised!  They're one very happy family.

Preston is a bundle of energy and did a good job of totally scrunching up my backdrop.  But hey - the three of us had a ton of fun and that's the whole idea, right?  He's a gorgeous kid - just look at that smile!

If you follow me on Facebook then you've been waiting for this announcement!  Here's your chance to be in the draw for one of two free mini-photo shoots and set of Christmas / holiday cards - either to keep for yourself or give away as a gift.

There are five ways to earn entries into the draw:

1. 'Like' the Southern Kiwi Photography Facebook page.  For those of you who have already 'liked' the page, you automatically have one entry in the draw!  This one is a MUST - if you don't 'like' the page, you won't receive credit for any other entries.
2. Get a friend to 'like' the Southern Kiwi Photography Facebook page.  They'll have one entry in the draw and you'll receive a second.  Make sure they leave a comment under the original Facebook post  for this draw (posted today, 12 Nov 2012), stating that you encouraged them to 'like' the page, so that you can get credit.
